finally had it delivered, this is a direct replacement for the standard clock/light mount for my NC30. made by tyga performance out of ally, its about a quater of the weight of a standard one
and needs replacing as my one is still bent from my accident last year… also have a matching fairing stay (H-bracket) but already packed it doh! thought id better get something for the NC30 as it might feel left out now the 7R is here…
The thing with thin-walled aluminium products is that they’re susceptible to vibration damage, i.e. vibration can cause bends to snap over time. I hope it’s strong enough fella! Looks good though, I’m all for lightening bikes.
should be up to the job as there are very few (1) bends in the ally, all else is welded flat section besides, anything is better than the mangled mess on the front of the bike at the mo… its also less than half the cost of a standard one (including the H frame) and i couldnt find a straight secondhand one as they are the first things to go in an accident…
Matt - where are you getting the NC30 bits from - I may be doing mine up over the winter - kinda need the same bits as you by looks of it.
i tend to get bits an peices here an there… where are you based? il be glad to pass on any knowledge or info you need… had my NC apart so many times i lost count, but im sure jay will vouch for the end result

sounds like a meet up at box hill is in order, im back in the country within a week or so, il give ya a shout an bring the NC… might even let you have a spin on it…
