Two bridges, not to far?

Long way off:) but who would like to do this one next year?

The Storebaelt Connection… 18Km long bridge:w00t:

The Oresund Connection… 16Km long bridge:w00t:

They are the two bridges that connect mainland Denmark to mainland Sweden:) (I like bridges)

Will be over 5/6/7? days approx 2000/3000 miles on some absolutly stunning roads:cool:

oooh any idea when, sounds good would be interested in this Mo:)

 Thought you would like this one;) something a bit different:) it’s only an idea at the minute but I might put a bit more thought to it soon:) it would be a great trip.

will search those bridges etc on google, how about making it a bit longer to take in more sights ? dunno its your shout Mo but Im looking forward to somewhere like that…just make it after end of June cos Im gonna do France then :D:D

Yeah can be longer;) and it would more than likely be July/Aug 2010:)

I’d be interested in this as my brother lives in Sweden.

would absolutely love to do it if i’m around!

definately maybe for me sounds like a good trip.

I’ve never ridden mega-miles before, but this trip sounds amazing. I’d love to give it a go!

You best get planning Mo :D:D

looks like a good posse forming, I know another one who want to join us once the dates been firmed up :)

Pencil me in please.

Sounds like a great trip. Put us down.

my girlfriends from sweden, hence ive heard of the bridge connecting denmark and sweden. aint seen it yet though, sounds very interesting…

quite a way off though, i cant decide what country ill be in few mths letalone a yr!

Didn’t expect this amount of interest:w00t:

It is a long way off but I will def do this trip next year;)

Watch this space:cool:

I’m interested, hope it’s not around late may/june as I’m getting married and honeymoon then!

At least it will allow everyone time to save up plenty of £££;)

Very true;) not cheap out there:)

The building of this bridge/tunnel was featured on Megastructures on Channel 5 on Sunday, incredible, wouldn’t mind going on it myself. The “swiss army knife” cradle that travels underneath the full length of the bridge meaning that maintenance is carried out without disrupting traffic is very clever. What depressed me though was the Swedes/Danes built an island from scratch along with an ingenious tunnel/bridge arrangement in 5 years for not much more than it cost us to build a really big tent

:w00t: says a lot does that:)

I might be up for this if I’ve got enough smackers to pay for it all!
