I filmed this last year when I was hauling 25 tons of rubbish to Paris, along the Route Nationale 4. It’s another great way to enjoy the open road… either give me 2 wheels or give me 12! :w00t:
Gotta love the burble of the 440 hp turbo diesel in the background and the great orange sun set on the horizon… hard to believe I got paid for that!
That said, the N4 usually has a lot of horrific truck crashes because as you can see it’s a pretty much straight, 2-lane blacktop and when somebody nods off, drifts across the centre line or tries some silly overtaking maneuver, it usually results in serious carnage.
