I hope all are well. I have to move on the 1st of November and I was unlucky enough to loose my licence last month for 6 months for totting up so my P+J needs to go rapid.
Its a 1993 Triumph Daytona 900 in Yellow. It has 40,000 miles on the clock and runs as it should. Well looked after with a triumph rack and heated grips. Tax and MOT have expired (no point me renewing them) and Im based in West London.
This was my fathers bike for many years and I adopted it when he traded up to a Bandit. Im sorry to see this go but I cant afford to ship it where Im moving so Im asking £500 cash on collection. Tax and tested these are going for alot more on ebay so Im sure it would make a great mini project or if it went to a loving triumph home I would be real happy!
I’ve had a Triumph before. Wife has OK’d the purchase, I am just waiting on details etc… !! Nothing like a birthday in November for snap decisions. Also have a friend over in Ealing with a van who might be able to collect for me (and store for a short while.)
Thank Alba. What location are you in? I am way over in SE2, Abbey Wood. Would probably be able to put the bike at work garage as there is space there. I’d have to SORN it and take it from there I guess.
I got one of these in red on my return to biking 15 years ago, great bike, loved the twin round headlamps and it`s stature.
Picked it up on a Wednesday evening after a 15 year gap in biking and rode it to Clermont Ferrand and back that Saturday and Sunday, 1100 miles, felt like a biker again when I got home.
Still miss it, it was eventually killed along with my car and a couple of other cars by a nobber in a 4 by 4 using his phone inappropriately.:crying:
Hi guy and girls. Happy and sorry to say this bike has now been sold. Gone to a nice chap and hope to see the flying egg out a social jaunt next season. Goodbye trumpet.
That would be very kind of you. I’ll definitely take that off your hands! Very pleased with the lovely Daytona. Very nice to meet you Rich. Glad you met Steve as he is an ace fellow too.
I’ll be cleaning the bike up, sorting battery, service it and see how it goes!
Yes. I know Scorch, he sorted some stuff at my home for me and did a stirling job. I had a Triumph for 4 years and loved it. Thanks for the recommendation, it swung it for me to go and look at the bike.
