Yeah, you should buy one and lend it to me
That’s on my list of potential upgrades if I decide to go for something with a bit more grunt in the new year.
its basically a track bike… they are drop dead gorgeous just will feel very firm on london roads compared to your fazer?
The suspension is firm! It’s juicy on fuel but mmmmmmm nice bike
So, I was chatting to a cousin of mine over the weekend … and as it happens, his old school mate is Chief Purchaser at Triumph !!!
Yes, he will get discount but how much…I have asked the question…lets wait and see…
I see all the “sports bikes” on the road and fancy something “sportier”… but when the Triumph conversation came up,
I jumped onto the website and saw which one looked the most SEXIEST… DAYTONA 675 R wins I think… and with some “discount” may have to make it happen !

if you can get discount then go for it!!! you can put up with bumps and harshness when it looks like this:
Those Brembo monoblocks give me such a stiffy
ohlins forks pretty nice too! I still wonder why bike manufacturers insist on silver heel guards which stick out like a sore thumb? would look so much better black
Cheaper I think. And heel guards get a fair amount of wear that would rub through black I assume…
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm!!!
Drewlling !!

you can make things black all the way through, so that even when scratched they still appear black… also dont understand why they mount the pillion pegson a piece that is visable once removed (as a large % of sports bike riders do) why not have curved pegs that attatch from the inside? I should design bikes I tell thee
I saw this at the bike show and fell in love.
Wanted a GSXR750 but this wins hands down.
£9999 - Only problem is the finance isn’ great Will have to save. Triumph want £333 over 3 years. £12k.
Can get a Gixxer on 0% but, it’s not a 675R
I would guess it’s because of the casting limitations…don’t want peg hangers that snap.
i had the 2010 daytona 675, amazing bike, can only assume the R is even better, went for the duc 848 evo myself, you won’t go wrong with that triumph, i rode everyday in london total blast.
They are realy nice bikes I used to work at triumphs as a technian so have ridden a few, they do have the quick shifter aswell so its got all the goodies you want. Don’t forget to check service costs and the pads ain’t cheap
Good luck!
I wouldn’t get one tbh, overpriced, too harsh for the road, cramped, everyone will want to steal it etc…
Thats the only thing I’d change the R6 for atm tbh. In that colour scheme too. But not brand new.
Oh and I’d also mod the exhaust so its not under-seat.
how are they overpriced? compared to what? name a sport bike that people don’t want to steal?
just saying like
