trip to alton for lunch and to assist twostrokes in getting to the pub

choccie muffin is popping over for a swim and lunch tomorrow…anyone else fancy coming is most welcome…know its a bit late but you can do a nice trip via the 339 to ALTON, bikers paradise, then head off back down the 272 if you are short of a place to go…i will be on shanks pony as i am still convinced i will not ride on the road again…

would be good to see a few bikers here…bring your trunks if you fancy a swim though…kids will be about so no skinny dipping

Which pub?

What time Paul ?

chocie muffin is arriving at 12… we will go to the french horn for lunch…by the arches on the a339 in Alton…

was good to see you 7 wheel and thanks for the ride home…was real good…no helmet, very dodgy but felt real good.

that v max is some trike for sure…

Can’t make tomorrow, but know alton very well (grew up in nearby fareham). You should go over portsown hill while you’re there for some great views and a sarnie from the van.

I did the A272 yesterday and its fantastic! Loads of twisty sections, great views and it just goes on and on! If anyone is in two minds about this, I can’t recommend it enough

Thank you 2strokes, that was an absolute privilege for me mate, lovely afternoon and great to meet you, Choccie Muffin and the kids (and dog!). My cousin was on good form later and cadged a ride to the filling station “to help me fill up” - his wife’s eyebrows were a picture lol.Keep plugging away mate, hope the healing keeps going and the surgeons work their magic. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday, thanks all

your a gentleman for sure…your welcome around anytime…if your in the area pop in for tea…but always call…will pm you my number…

Sorry couldnt make this in the end, other half had other plans for us today :stuck_out_tongue:

Would be good to see you again
