Transporting bike in bits

If I was to need to transport a bike from Swansea to Hertfordshire and it’s already in parts, would it make more sense to use something like shiply or rent a small van and go fetch it myself?

Surprised you haven’t strapped it to the back of the tracer

Boxed up and UPS?

What’ve you bought?

I’d do it in a van if i were you. £50 to rent one from Hirus in Watford for a day.

plus 400 miles of diesel as well though

might be buying a Yamaha twin

400miles of diesel should be around £50

go yourself as if in bit might lose some in transit with courier

might be buying a Yamaha twin me_groovy
when you say Twin... is it a Twin of one of your bikes just more broken? :D

Think of it as an adventure! And those new Transits are nice to drive, decent heating and sound systems! Take a mate with you, it’ll be a laugh!

Membership number 000 definitely has your name on it!

moi?

Ever heard about Diogenes syndrome?

Lol I’ll have to take a mate, I don’t have a car licence!

I’d offer to lend you my land rover but it’d cost a crap load in fuel money, plus might be a squeeze getting it in the back

Dont forget the bridge toll as well …

already noted Tim but good shout. higher for a van too.

Anybody else surprised he doesn’t already have experience transporting non-working, non-assembled motorbikes?
