I bought my mum a laptop for Christmas and it came with Vista. Having messed about with it for a couple of hours, making it mum-proof, the only differences I can see are that Vista takes twice as long to do anything, all the buttons in Microsoft Office apps have moved around, and there are fiddly, largely pointless extra graphics everywhere which don’t do anything beyond looking pretty.
Bring back XP
