Trackday Video Montage

Mucking about with Adobe Premiere over the last couple of days and despite having some DVD-export issues I did knock up this little montage of some trackday footage. A combination of Rockingham, Brands Hatch and Donington.

Nice lettle medley there mate. Makes me think I should sort all mine out now! Just dont get the time. Hopefully a mates going to do me a web site, if it happens, I will post up the details as shall stick all the bike stuff on it.

Very nice Silver! I like it. The K reminds me of my previous K1 750, I loved that bike on track, it felt so solid, great bike. Nice music as well. I’ve only had time to watch it briefly, I’ll have a better viewing later

nice one silver.

what issues are you having with DVD export? (I author DVDs for a living - maybe I can help)

Ah, just the man for the job then!

I’ve been using Adobe Premiere Elements for a couple of months and have been getting on fine with it, no problems.

A couple of das ago I finally decided to try exporting to DVD, and did a quick trial which worked fine (including all the DVD menus etc). So, I collected together all my edited trackday footage, edited it some more, joined it, added scene markers etc and set it to burn to DVD (at 1:30am Thursday morning).

At 8am it still said that there was 2hrs 1min to go and was “Encoding video”. At 6pm it said the same. So I stopped it and tried again, same result - seems to do nothing after about 15 minutes of encoding.

Okay, took the project, all the files and put them on a different machine. Same result. The program doesn’t hang (it still responds to commands) and neither does Windows, it just seems to stop doing anything in pretty much the same position. Now I guess it maybe something to do with the specific project, but what do I look for?

Any ideas? I’ve had no problem exporting to MPEG, AVI etc.

Cheers!
