TOWIE Tour, 24/08/14..... 08:00am from High Beach Tea Hut 125 & L Plate Friendly

Hi,

As you all know i have been trying to plan the RiDE MAGAZINE TOWIE Tour ride out but the weather has put a stop to it,

So…

The weather this week looks good so i have decided to try and get it up and running for this Sunday.

Here is a link to the route https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=200484981040445919992.0005005bc6f668dd98a15&msa=0&ll=51.817954,0.473785&spn=0.539912,1.374664

The Rules are as Follows…

No Nobbers, Stunters or White Line Jumpers…30 MEANS 30!!!, Respect the Villages.

We will be using the Cornerman & Tail gunner system so if unfamillar with this then have a quick look on here for the description.

The ride will be 125 & L Plate friendly as there will be no Motorway Miles.

GoPro’s & Helmet Cams welcomed so remember this if you are pulling Wheelies and speeding!!

The ride will be a brisk but safe one taking in some lovely lanes and fast bends but this doesn’t mean it will be a Balls out race. It will be a nice ride to accomodate all styles of Riding/Riders/Bikes.

We will be stopping at Bosworths (Finchingfield) for Tea & then at Mersea Island sea front for Fish & Chips on the beach. (Budgie Smugglers welcomed)

Arrive with a Full Tank, Empty Bladder and enough money for extra fuel and food and drink.

We will be meeting at the Tea Hut in High Beach for Bacon Sarnies (No i’m not buying!!) and then aiming to leave for 08:30 towards Finchingfield.

I’m looking for a Leader and a Tail Gunner for this ride as i prefer to ride in the middle of the pack filming all different bikes but i will lead if no one else fancies it (prepare to get lost and take detours if i do lead  )

route looks good going to try to make it

I’m in, I don’t mind leading and I know some of the roads but still might take the occasional wrong turn :Whistling:
But that will make it more of an adventure won’t it?
And it won’t be really fast because I have a healthy fear of crashing:D

Great, cheers guys. Just need a tail gunner and some more middle men

Would love to make it but going to football.

That excuse will be OK, but first need to find out which team you support before i can except it as a feasable excuse.

I have a friend who wants to come along on this, so I’ll confirm with him if hes still up for it

Cool. will you be on a 125 is the BIG question???

The mighty Spurs

So no football then

Then thats a very valid excuse, I was worrying you were gonna say QPR, you are excused from the ride

No …

Thank you sir. Hope that the next time I join a ride I will not be on my 125 either.

Sweet talk Soph into Borrowing the Gladius!!!

Best get that DAS done soon then!!!

It’s A2 not DAS :frowning: but all booked in for mid Sept. Bike is ready, just not the license…

what time you think you’re up in finchingfield? starting time way too early for me as i’m too far.

Should be at Finchingfield no later than 10 depending on how long it takes to eat all the bacon rolls

Hmm, seriously tempted to break in my new bike on some nice roads.

Yes, should aim for Finchingfield for 10am.

The New Bike will Love those roads

Nope, I wouldn’t willingly ride the Gladius :ermm: I didnt enjoy riding it for my test/lessons.

So not coming on Sophs bike
