gridgirl & me want to do a little touring next April and we’re thinking of Scotland again. We’ve been around Fort William, Loch Ness, Inverness etc before so can anyone recommend another part that’s worth a visit.
Or we may go elsewhere. Wales possibly?
Anyone have any suggestions?
Wales is stunning - bit wet in April but it’ll be dryer and warmer than Scotland at that time of the year - all the mountain passes are open by April - and of course the people are friendly
Try the Deeside from Aberdeen, cracking roads. also Applecross and Ullapool are all good places to head, especially from the east as it takes you right over the Grampians.
Ask this lot for recommended routes www.aberdeenbikers.co.uk
You might be lucky and get a sensible answer.
South Wales is cracking too - Pembrokeshire ( or whatever the Welsh name is ) is like Cornwall without the crowds…
