Yay Top Gear is back and it starts tomorrow at 8pm
Fire up the blues and twos - Top Gear is back! Our first episode sees the presenters on the hunt for the perfect police pursuit vehicle. We’ll be putting their home-made cop cars through their paces, aided and abetted by Inspector Stig of the Yard.
James will be introducing a brand new member of the Top Gear family, before stepping smartly aside so they can make their mark on the show with an incredible feat of daring-do.
If that wasn’t enough, Jeremy will be tearing up the track in the freakishly quick Ferrari F430 Scuderia.
Plus, there’s a break from the norm as the Reasonably Priced Car welcomes a pair of stars in the contrasting shapes of the Friday Night Project’s Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins. :w00t:
With all due respect, and yes Top Gear is a fun show.
Clarckson is a bike hating hypocrit, I had a run in with him years ago on the Isle of dogs, I ended up thumping the widow of the Humbre he was blocking the road up with and told him what I thought. Next day in his coloumn was a vitrial about the menace of motorcycles.
I hate the fact I watch TG and it makes me laugh…I just wish that Hammond would stand up (not a short guy joke) and get Bikes recognised as he claims to be a biker!
How come they never seem to cover bikes at all? Fifth gear manages to do the odd bit.
Would have thought the ever increasing cost of petrol / congestion charges / environmental benefits of two wheels over four / faster journeys etc make biking a very attractive alternative to the car.
Agree with the comments on Clarkson. For me, his anti-green rantings are more than a little bit boring now. Give me a bike over a Chelsea tractor any day…
mr. clarkson isn’t exactly a big fan of tractors either. more of the sports car man since he’s had his ferraris the ford gt40 and so on. yes he’s a knob about bikes but who cares he’s a funny guy. may and hammond more than make up for his arrogance i reckon.
Well I think Top Gear is some of the best telly going:cool:
It’s not just because of the cars, It’s the way its done. Very entertaining:D
May and Hamster both ride bikes and I can understand why they don’t have bikes on there as motorcycles account for less than 1% of road users so very much in the minority unfortunately.
with it being back to back on DAVE :doze: i didnt realise it had gone anywhere…
Not a big fan of the show i must admit Clarkson’s rantings are monotonous and boring in my opinion. I’ll watch it if there’s nothing better on BUT i’m sure there’s a quality period drama on somewhere at the same time :hehe::hehe:
