Anyone see the 5th Gear where they done a test to see if being tired at the wheel was more dangerous than being drunk at the wheel, test revealed that being tired was actually more dangerous, bet this got a few people’s backs up. I thought it was an interesting test and could see that they weren’t saying drink and drive, they were trying to highlight how dangerous it is being tired at the wheel.
haha, i just read bout this in the paper, utterly insane.
I also remember clarkson stating at the time, that they were driving along a frozen sea in international water, by which there is no law against drink driving.
Plus, they only had about half a glass anyway!!!
They were concerned that children might copy him?
since when were children allowed to drive?!?!
Some people in this country need to get a life, can they honestly say everyone will be happy when we all walk around without driving or riding, never go on holiday, never fly, never see loved ones who live overseas because of the contribution to the environment in 100 yrs, never eat sugary sweets, fatty foods, dont drink, never argue with each other and skip through fields with fecking flowers in our head?!?!?!?!
unfortunaltey under new european law your not allowed to have a life if you intend to waste it by having fun, you can only have one if your life involves moaning and complaining about everyone and everything that may give any enjoyment to anyone anywhere in the world… and you have to do it with political correctness at the forefront of everything you do for fear of upsetting some other sad git who has nothing better to do than limit the life you might have by controlling the way we speak , think or act.
the whole worlds gone mental !!!oh and please dont pick the flowers !!!
Frankly I feel lucky I made it through the 80s and into adulthood. We didn’t have people watching out for our every move then and i spent time doing all manner of irresponsible things, some of them fun. but gosh i wish health and safety had held my hand. must have been a close shave back then without them.
