Too good to be true?

I’m considering buying a Street Triple and found this one on MCN:

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/bikes-for-sale/searchresults/detail/Triumph/STREET-TRIPLE-675/2007/_/R-NXGN-7554973?mfy=75.345892

The price seems so low…

Seems good to me nothing shady.

My bike is up dirt cheap but I am genuine as alot of people have questioned why I’m selling my bike for that price.

No harm in calling the seller and finding out all you need to know.

I got my street for 3K - from a member of LB - it had done 19,000 miles but was a real bargain - really good nick and loads of extras, so go for it, but take someone along with you unless you’re a mechanical genius. I had a bad buy on e bay a few years ago when the bike packed up as soon as I got it home and sat in the garage for months as no one could repair it.

If you want to try out a street triple I’ll be around on Wed at BM so you can take mine round the block and see what you think.

no harm in checking it out… if anything feels/looks weird walk away

Thanks for the advice guys  The seller is somewhere in Cambs, so not exactly around the corner.

Hels, would love to try yours! Not sure if I can make it to BM tomorrow, but you live in Streatham, don’t you? Could swing by yours one evening if that’s ok with you?

Yes sure, will PM you my number and we can sort out a test ride round the block

Cool, thanks hon!

have you phoned them because that wont stay on sale for long

Nice but only one picture the other side of it the could have been down the road.
Buy a Striple, great bikes, IMO the R is the better one because of the suspension and brakes.
My advice would always be buy bike/cars from a enthusiasts site.
For example this is on the Street Triple site- http://www.street-triple.co.uk/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=9778.msg112926#msg112926
