dont sound too good m8, does it b0llok up any claim you may have had due to burst water main, seeing as you went down after the water? could still be a contributing factor with water on wheels etc.
sorry to hear it was not conclusive , that water has been there pretty much since the road was open as far as i can remember , it was very cold that morning , maybe coudl have been a very small area of black ice , but who knows
hope it hasn’t put you back in the process of getting over it all
any thought of a trick or something like it for the summer ?

The water leak could have been slightly frozen which could have cause the bike to slip.

IMHO, sounds like you did nothing to cause the crash and that there was nothing you could have done to avoid it.
I guess some questions aren’t meant to be answered.

I’m fine. I’m slightly disappointed that there was no conclusive evidence to explain the accident away, but at least he didn’t say “you were riding like a twat and the water definately had nothing to do with the crash…”
Will have to wait and see what the solicitors make of it all… maybe I won’t go and order my new Aston just yet:)
Dan’s doing fine… today was the first day in his short life where he hasn’t needed medication of any kind… woo hoo!
