Having lived in Africa, my blood isn’t wanted by the NHS.
I usually give regularly but have to wait a bit as I had a tattoo done a couple of months ago, usually give at least twice a year though

I give as often as possible, which is every 16 weeks. Should be due to give some more in the next month I think.
May not agree with your shopping habits at the bank, but keep up the good work donating blood.

My sentiments exactly. I also gave last week, I’m up to 24 litres! 
Which sounds a lot until you think of my lifetime’s donations like this, and imagine could you use this much in a major operation? Then it doesn’t seem so much.

Yep, I was born in Sri Lanka and lived in Malaysia but they still take mine.
Trying to keep up family traditions here, my old man has been giving blood for almost 25 years and he’s approaching his 100th time donating – just under the wire for when he’s considered “too old” as a donor.
Apparently, you get a lunch with the major and all sorts of neat recognition…
