To: The scrote that broke into my van and nicked all my tools from my van....

Thank you very much for nicking all my tools, really appreciated that this morning when i went to do my wheel bearings and had no tools to work with… Taken from SE12 Lee / Lewisham

I’m also looking forward to those long journeys following a road map as you took both of my sat navs.

Hope you are reading this and the 30kg toolbox put a disc out in your back or the Stanley knife took at least 1 of your fingers off as you reached in past my pretty expensive torque wrench… YOU’RE A **** and if you try selling my tools locally be careful who you try and sell them to!

Just in case you need a list of what you stole here it is:

Stanley 60cm toolbox (which is a bit broken at the back) which inside was:
Halfords Pro 6-60nM Torque wrench
Lockwire pliers & lockwire
Snap-on 3/8" ratchet

32mm/36mm Ring spanner with DB scribed into it

32 & 36mm 1/2" drive sockets
KTM spark plug spanner
£37 pot of locktite
Assorted box (roughly 40) of Kawasaki / Suzuki shims
Snap on ring spanner and deep socket (think it was 16mm)
Hammers (pin ands claw hammer)
Assorted screwdrivers
Various drifts (for helping with things like wheel bearings)
Ball joint separator
Various wire cutters, pliers and needle nose pliers
2 sets of circlip pliers (internal and external)
Carb adjustment screwdriver
Rubber mallet
Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda wheel tools

think that’s about it…

also thank you for taking

2 sat nav’s - TomTom One and Sony Nav U-50
Sony Stereo facia, You left the 10 disc multiplayer by the way but i think it’s useless now you stupidly tried to pull it out via the wiring
Nokia (will find out model)
My beloved Brown Arnette Tantrums
A Suzuki Key (which is useless by the way)
Halfords Tyre Pressure gauge
Bosch PBH 2000 XCEL Rotary Hammer Drill
My assorted Cd’s (luckily you took all the crap ones- the current collection is in the CD player which you forgot to take)
Sony erricson car charger
an Inhaler (perhaps you were puffed carrying that 30kg toolbox?)

Oh and if you’d like to return my alloy locking keys that would be nice of you!

Anyway nice one pal, nice opportunity… can’t remember for the life of me which tools are marked - but have a nice Christmas!

gutted for ya mate! Look on the bright side.

At least you can go on a tool shopping spree and not feel guilty

mate sorry to hear this, will keep an eye out (or take one out for you) if I see him…where were they taken from

Yup after Xmas sales :)Hopefully the toolbox broke and broke his foot or something! Taken from SE12 - Lee Green (nr. Lewisham)

That’s right - this will catch-up with this low life in some way I am sure!

In the meantime sorry to hear this and it’s good you’re looking forward to replacing them

It’s just the simple things like the Torque wrench, the KTM spark plug spanner (as the bore is very small to get to the pulg and you cant just use a normal spark plug spanner) and the Kawasaki / Suzuki shims that are a ***** as the shims were about £5 each.

get a suzuki and park it outside your house or something and watch it night and day to see if he comes back to try and start it up with the key…

then beat the living daylights out of him.

gutted for you mate.

man thats **** news…

dont take offence, but why did you leave a van loaded with tools?

not loaded with tools mate - they all fit into 1 small’ish toolbox which i just leave in the van, which you can’t see behind the half bulkhead.

Sorry to hear this mate - it takes a long time to build up a tool kit - there’s also something very personal about a tool kit - personally I’d want to smash the scrotes face in for messing about with my stuff.

I guess it’s all properly insured?

ah i see…well i hope the thieving cahnt trys to sell them locally…and bumps into you;)

ffs! did he leave the ashtrays!?? :ermm:

hope drops the hammer on his foot, cut himself with the razor, and pocks an eye out with the screwdriver

That’s a rubbish thing to happen, mate. Toolkits are a very personal thing!

I hope the little sod uses the wrong torque setting and shears off all his bolts.

Do you think you’ll be able to track the stuff down? He’s probably not very bright…

really sorry about that fella.

What the hell were you doing leaving sat navs in your veee-hicle!

anyway you dont want to hear shite like that…

sorry buddy!

Yeah it’s just the silly tools that i want back i.e the KTM spark plug tool and the torque wrench, guess the locking wheel nut key would be good to

Ummm… insured you say? havent called them yet!

really sorry to hear bout the theft mate it really is awful, in my past life i was a decorator and had a van full of stuff nicked, they paid for the van but the contents werent insured. i had to change careers. i really feel for you

thanks mate, putting this up not really for people to feel sorry for me more so if people get offered some of the stuff…

Hope they die a slow and painful death!

Thats just crap , i’d hate it if my tool box’s went missing , what goes around comes around , so im told and i quiet belive in that. hope the scum get more than they bargain for!

i am from LEE GREEN se12 any details on the tom toms etc? numbers? and so on? you never no might try flog them.

sorry to hear about this!!
