Neither.The metal one has drilled holes that wear out the inside of your boot as you rub it cheese-grater style, the carbon one is a cheap trick bit of addon that anyone can afford and order from a thousand mail order companies or eBay so it doesn’t exactly achieve the look or point of adding something trick to the bike.
I presume you are trying to customise your bike to make it look more personal and make it stand out, those things hardle weigh anything so presonally I’d try and find a titanium one, not as common as a carbon heel plate and make sure it’s not a cheese grater instead a solid (undrilled) plate of titanium.
I’d even go as far as having it sprayed silk matt black to match the nice swingarm you have but ofc it’s just my two cents.
sorry digger not my thing, i think it kinda goes with the coloured bolt thing that was so popular a few years back… Put nice rearsets on if you’re gonna add bits to ya bike…
