Hi all ,im buck and im a friend of the capt,i also ride a yamaha xt660x with carbon cans and K&N fitted,the only thing is mine is the faster grey model,anyone whos up for a ride pm either of us a we are normally up for it…and a ride also .

DucatiPete, I hope you don’t have a liccle problem with another man’s bike choice?
given my age group and the need for less maintenance (i.e. oil changes every 1000 miles or less, as u get on these lovely full on motards, like husabergs/ktm/huskys and honda’s) my choice is one of a tough enough bike that lives happily between 6000 miles service intervals and rides just as good as a tarty motard, but each to his own. Battlestart galatica.
Besides I did my racing bit when i was 17-24 on real offroad machines, now i leave these joys to the young ones. Now i am bored with it…
