Remember seeing Jason & The Argonauts as a kiddywink … fantastic!

It didn’t matter that they were blatantly crap rubber toys. It just added to the charm and character of the story. It somehow made emulating his movies with your toys more real. The stories he illustrated with his stop motion were new and fresh, not recycled. They were a proper adventure. Not like today’s shoot em ups.

That was an epic movie, even when i saw it 30 years later! For some reason the scene that sticks out in my mind is the harpie scene.

Never knew he was the guy behind it… :frowning:
