Thankfully not my bike - but some dysfunctional scum have had a go at nicking a small LED beacon from the roof of my van, they didn’t get it but have ruined the roof skin trying.
What is it with this country?
I work damn hard to pay for what I want, I don’t go and nick it from someone.
What has gone wrong with society? I can’t have what I want because some lazy, no good, social misfit decides that they have a right to take it from me.
I’m on the brink of buying a bike for green laning but probably won’t because I can’t store it inside anywhere to stop it getting nicked. I know it’s gonna be insured but having had one Gixxer stolen, one damned good attempt at nicking another - I know it’ll happen and I’ll suffer the rise in premiums while they walk away with what I work hard for.
I lay the blame at the feet of parents & the Law:
The parents who can’t be arsed to bring up their kids and drag them up instead with screwed up views of their rights teaching them that they deserve to be looked after by the state and are totally blameless for anything they do. I see an ever increasing number of ‘parents’ (not that they know who is whose father) dragging umpteen kids through shopping centres yelling at them to do this or do that while texting someone on their latest phone and stuffing burgers in their mouth to maintain their considerable sized lazy arses. Which, by the way they then claim to be the reason they can’t work and get more benefits whilst claiming to be a victim of life.
The Law for not having the bollocks to deal with this. About time we stood up to this and started to punish people properly. You get caught theiving, you lose two fingers. Next time it’s your hand. That’d deter them more than a few hours sweeping the streets on ‘community service’ on the way to the benefit office to claim their money for breeding the next generation of misfits.
ARRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!
Rant over.
sorry to hear about your damaged beacon and popped skin:w00t:
