Last night was a late one with Chris and myself toiling away until well into darkness… brakes, oil, dodgy indicator wiring, rear brake light switch, clutch lever… in addition to the forks we did the other day.
Went down and had my bike inspected today and lo and behold it passed 
Got some notes for slightly bent handlebar and “tread depth close to legal limit” but all in all the hard work paid off.
Thanks for Chris and Biggus for helping with know-how, parts and elbow grease!
So, I ride again, legally and everything I’m massively chuffed. So now I can turn up at the next meeting the way I’m supposed to - ON A BIKE!
And Ginger will once again lose the “dodgiest bike in show” to me
