OK which one of you was it?
In the past few months car owners in Hampshire have reported attacks by a hooligan dubbed “the Mobile Slasher”.
Victims wake to find their tyres punctured and a calling card on the windscreen. The note, fashioned from letters cut from newspapers, reads: “Warning. You have been seen driving while using your mobile phone.”
Police believe that the perpetrator may be a disgruntled driver who has been involved in an accident caused by a motorist using a mobile phone. However, they are at a loss to explain how the vigilante finds victims.
One theory is that he or she follows drivers home. Another is that the attacker notes down numberplates and somehow traces addresses via the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Agency.
