As it’s been anounced that Jaguar and Land Rover have both been bought by Indian company TaTa. it got me wondering how long it will be before a major bike brand is snapped up by Mssrs Patel & Co.

but did you see the Tat(a) on 5th Gear this week, presenter nearly got thrown out of the motor show for touching it! Apparently they had to do major repairs to the car overnight as people were touching it the previous day. One finger on any part of the body work wound leave an indentation!
It is a real shame to wave ‘TaTa’ to both Landrover and Jaguar. 
I wonder how long they’ll keep their job security promise to the UK workers. I reckon the ink will only just be drying on the contract and they’ll be making ‘adjustments’ to their UK manufacturing requirements.
Lawd knows what their helplines are gonna be like!

I was just wondering how long it will be before an Indian company buys a Motorcycle Brand as we are riding Indian bikes. Indeed, how long before the Indian national anthem is heard on the MotoGP podium?Did I say it was a bad thing? If it works anything like when the remaining Rover SD1 stock and parts were all shipped to India, it’ll mean all the stuff will be stored for years and years and come back here again and be sold for peanuts. Keeps me in car parts though

donno my mum had a pre ford jag 94 i think and it was a pile of junk she traded it in for a newer one 2 weeks later. a ford version that is. much much nicer car to drive.
