The Only Way is Essex III - Sunday 6th January

This ones down to george.b, this way we have the right day/date in the title

Leaving Blackheath tea hut on Sunday 6th January 2013 at 11.27 prompt, so don’t turn up at 11.30 and expect george to be waiting :Whistling:

via point Ongar Esso/Tesco fuel/p1ss one stop wotsit 12.00 ish

inter webby googily map wotsit

A moderate paced, non-motorway ride employing the corner man system as required, explanatory thread here. Check your top boxes, tyres, oils, regulator/rectifier, drive chains and number plates. Arrive on a roadworthy bike with a full tank of fuel and an empty bladder. Have with you sufficient funds to cover the costs of fuel and nibbles for the day. No Harleys, knobbers, boy racers, girl racers, white line overtakers or late brakers. No cats, dogs, sheep, horses or cyclists. Everyone else welcome, ride safely, at your own pace and enjoy the day.

I might join you guys at Chipping Ongar for midday. High Beech Tea Hut is even better for me I guess, as it’s earlier on the route, but whatever

Erm, and number plates…

Just to clarify

I’ll be joining the ride at the Ongar Esso/Tesco via point

edit: number plates added Andy

Ok we’re definitely going through Chipping Ongar but I think even according to the map we’re not gonna be there at noon. We leave at 11.27 and the map says 54 minutes. Or do you have different experience i.e. can we get there in 33 minutes on midday Sunday?

I heard rumour of it being done on an old Silver R6 in just 19 minutes :w00t:

Should take about 35-40 minutes observing the speed wotsits, the 54 minutes is for Joby in a Chelsea Tractor

Ok then, we’ll do that. Should be at Chipping Ongar Esso just after twelve. If you want PM me your number so I can inform you if anything changes, e.g. if some old korean 125 breaks down mid way there  Andy you’re in?

I’m not 100%, but probably as likely as 90%

I’ve PM’d you my number.

What time are we likely to be back? I want to be back for 6pm, which I assume should be fine.

We’'ll be back by 6 easy

We could add the Burnham Bends after lunch and still be back for 6

ehrm…

assuming this is the right thread, i’ll see you down at the tea hut as i have no clue where the second meeting point is.

See you all at the hut

maybe, but never been to tea hut - alba will you pick me up - if im not to hung over

Sure, send me a text if you’re up in the morning I’ll pick you up from Chiswick roundabout at 10.30.

Wish we could attend but BB2.75 is still awaiting the re-opening of OMC.

Good luck and good hunting, yours forever, Chris and Julie x.

Sundays just haven’t been the same since, we’ll perform a little eyes right left just as we pass B&T Salvage Yard, did you realise BB2¾ passed out right outside a salvage yard, Googily map wotsit, is she trying to tell you something :w00t:

Its looking to be a super fine day day for it, although the Bonne’s feeling a little shy dirrty so no photo’s please.

Sorted, think I’ll head to Ongar, see you there.

Franc, do you want to meet me at High beech 11.30?

John, even better, get a nice sausage roll ;)… I’ll get for 11.15 @ high beech…

I’ll pm you my mobile…cheers…

That’ll do nicely

Alba/Rixxy, if you wanna hit High Beech, via north circ, let me know.

Thanks but I’m closer to the teahut.

see you later
