The Living Daylights....

Just watching some of The Living Daylights, and personally I think Timothy Dalton should have been arrested for impersonating an actor! :stuck_out_tongue:
It’s no wonder that he didn’t last for too long as 007!

What do you mean too long the films almost 2 hours long…personally i think he should have been shot in the opening credits:D

Shocking film and i agree it has to be the worst of the lot.

Quick turn over to Dave for some bloke TV hahahaha

I’m already doing the PS3 thing mate! I managed about 10 minutes! :stuck_out_tongue:

It`s my least fav Bond film.

Aren’t you forgetting the truly crap Octopussy?

did you watch it at b&q?

I think that’s a little unfair - the film didn’t have a big budget or a good script so it’s rubbish but that’s not his fault…

+1

I think he was a better Bond than Daniel Craig will ever be…

I don’t think Dalton could act if his life depended on it!!!:w00t:
And I actually like Daniel Craig’s character better than most! It’s more like the James Bond from the books, who was a much darker character than the wise-cracking Bond portrayed by Connery and Co…

Timothy Dalton is a top Shakespearean actor! FFS! I though he brought a brooding, dark, tragic depth to the charachter of Bond.

I would have preffered Dalton as Bond over Roger Moore any day - Roger Moore was so wooden they might as well have just thrown a chair onto the set and filmed that instead! :PI liked the Ah Ha title track as well.Nice Aston too.

He may be a top Shakespearian actor, but he can’t pull off the role of Bond in my opinion! And that’s all it is… My opinion! lol
I just think the acting is cheesy, even by 80’s standards! :stuck_out_tongue:

He was awful in Flash Gordon too…
That bloke from Blue Peter stole the scene!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Personally I liked the 2 Dalton Bond films, they were such a relief after the mind numbing crapness of the Roger Moore era, (Live And Let Die was ok),

I wanted Bond to be darker, more brooding, Violence raging beneath the surface.

Dalton had depth, you could imagine him killing in cold blood, if thats what was needed.

That said, Daniel Craig is good too.

Everyone else pales compared to Connery. Craig comes closest and he’s still miles off. Sorry, but that’s an end of it.
