Wow what a great night, each one gets better and better.
A big thank you is due to those who have helped out either with time or resources, usually with both. It takes a lot of people’s time and energy to sort out these events especially with things like-
hiring all the DJ gear
twisting the venue’s arm over pricing and catering
cajoling companies to donate prizes in this very difficult time
organising countless trophies
while knowing that a simple mistake or misunderstanding can seriously ruin the evening for you guys. Shane gets a special mention too for dealing with DJ gear that wasn’t known to him, so go easy on the occasional pause in the music, there were a lot of buttons and some dodgy cabling too, but he made it work and span some great tunes.
Of course Chunkey as events organiser and general Mr Xmas Party deserves a freakin’ medal (oh he got one, riiiiight…) and Team Tinkerbell who looked after the on-forum organising should be very proud of their efforts.
There are several others who contributed, the list would be too long to name but to everyone, from everyone, well done !!
Oh and the pics will be with Jay soon so expect a gallery sometime tomorrow.

Incredible! What can I say?? That was our best party yet! A huge thanks goes out to everyone involved in organising and helping out with the night. Shane, you’re a diamond, you did us proud on the music. MacP was brilliant as ever with the auction, awards, raffle, etc. Andrew, I can’t wait to see the photos! The ones on facebook are rather amusing as it is, hehe.
A thanks goes out to Ginger for helping us on the door when everyone piled in. I can’t believe he went on and did his job after! Or that there was any food left after he tucked in! 
Whilst setting up something like this is normally a thankless task, it was really nice to see everyone have a great time and those that came were all top-class folks and had a great party. That’s got to be representative of the LB community, no?
Thanks to those that came back to my place after for another party.
I’m feeling really good about 2009 after this party. The gang just seem to get better and better!

Me and my girlfriend head off to leicster SQ after ward and partied till 5am. Head home about 5.30am and got McDDDDD’s on the way.

I had an excellent night, great to meet so many of you, sadly my memory’s not what it was and I can’t remember most peoples names… but a big thanks to Julie-Ann (Mad Scientist) for an excellent chauffering job, and for putting up with my inane ramblings all the way there and back, and to Ian (Elad) for braving the lav when I was no where to be found when the awards were dished out… and a massive thank you for everyone involved in organising it - you did a brilliant job!
Oh and I forgot to buy Chunky the drink I owe him:(
