the how to book of policing

Where can I buy this book!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Oooff. that is funny, sad but funny!

First published 1974 but reminds me of my junior school class visit to our local police station ** years earlier.

A quaint charm, the like of which we’ll never see again. Unless we all start watching re runs of early Dixon programmes.

Please, NO.

They got that wrong:cool:

I had one of these along with Fireman, soldiers and all sorts:)

It was well before 1974;)

1974 - wouldn’t be priced 2’6 then as it would long have been 12.5p! (Since February 1971 to be exact).

Still very funny though.

It turns out the policeman book was published in 1962.

That was a good year;)

Boy do I feel a prat.

Only looked at the pictures and never read the words. A lot better than the Ladybird original atr a guess.

Who’s a day early April Fool then?

If anyone mentions page 20 I’m gonna use some of my toys on them !

You see it’s so obvious now you highlight it, I’d never noticed before:)

Luckily I have a policy of never taking the mickey out of someone who has guns

We won’t mention your attire at the xmas bash Barb Baz;)

Damn - you got in too quickly with that comment :stuck_out_tongue: Besides… toys… aren’t you supposed to leave them at work? Or are you talking about other toys? Girls - get in quick whilst the offer’s hot!

Funny how the link between policemen and firemen crops up… I don’t think they are similar at all :Whistling:

Brilliant  LOL

1962 excellent year.
