The geographicaly confused ASBO run...

I may not be so good with directions as Geoff has pointed out

But one thing military types are good at is the 7 p’s… Prior Preparation and planning prevents piss poor performance…

So here goes…

Meet Jacks Hill Cafe on Sun 09th Sept at 1030

Time for a quick brew before we hit the road, mines Tea NATO by the way

Lunch at The Nevill Arms approx 1300 (they do a good roast)

Finishing at H cafe approx 1630, where i will be calling endex…

Dont forget a good soldier is always 5 minutes early.

Timings may shift to the right or left slightly, keep an eye out on the thread.

There may be abit of ‘improvise, adapt and overcome’ along the way.

Obviously i shall be Lead Scout, looking for a volunteer to be tail end charlie.

Oh and as with all army exercises there will be a water crossing involved.

Okay for those of you making your way up from London you can meet the Jetstreams at the Ace Cafe where they will be leaving at 0900 to lead you to Jacks Hill Cafe.

Not suitable for 125s or beginers.

Will be a progressive ride, ride at your own pace, you are responsible for your own actions and will accept any consequences of your own actions and not hold anyone else on the ride to blame especialy not me :stuck_out_tongue:

The corner man system will be inforce, make sure you know it.

Nearly forgot to say, make sure your tanks are full for the start of the ride… or atleast enough to cover 80 miles(tank range of the SDR  )

If the list gets filled i will make a reserve list seeing as there is a couple of weeks till the event and i know what people are like for pulling out of rides as it gets closer

Can we invade another country? :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, you say 2 weeks ahead but don’t say what day it’s on… :Whistling:

Knew i forgot something, yes it will continue that way too, proberbly forget the route… However Serrisan it does include Fish Hill
As for invading another country, i did 5 countries on the friday just gone. And i’ll be invading them again in a few weeks time.

Hopefully I’ll be around and will join… Though I have no idea where Jacks Hill Cafe is but I’m sure I can find it!

I wasn’t sure either Serrisan… near Silverstone.

;)

sounds good but please give more details on the water crossing bit. me and my bike dont like water!!! a lot!!!

Pencilled in the planner …

I should be back and recovered from invading Scotland by then just enough time to lower the Cross of St George in favour of a Union Jack.

Well im taking a leaf out of the Jets book seeing as how they have adopted me and raised me on here so it will be through a ford… It does have a solid bottom

For those going from North London, we will be leading a ride up to Jack`s Hill Cafe departing 9.00am prompt and we mean departing 9.00am prompt.

This should give us time to meet up with our adopted son and heir.

Bloody hell that’s going to be an early one then…

Now to try and sort my front tyre out for then…

ASBO I’m on this provisionally… if it’s raining/ pissing it down I’m going to stay dry…

Where abouts in north london are you thinking?

Also would I be correct to assume that anyone can fill the empty places?

The Jets will be leaving from the Ace Cafe.

Yeah, anyone is welcome to fill the spaces aslong as your not a cheeseball or in the RAF :w00t:

Oh and as it says in the thread, it will be a progressive ride so no begginers

best i get my name down for this, see you at jacks cafe.

Already put you down on the list bud… I have a feeling if its raining most will bail. Me, i’ll happily ride if its raining and others still want to, i even did the BCR with a few others who also must have lost their marbles that day

Geoff we like your way of thinking and will endeavor to incorporate your route plan into the meet-up point:D

PS: A note to the hungry:

If anyone is leaving the Ace with us at 9.00 am don’t expect to get to Jack’s Hill Café in time to eat - their gormet haute cuisine takes a while to cook and we won’t have time for more than a quick cuppa before the main sortie starts;)

the Super Sausage cafe just South of Towcester is much better for grub etc its also on the A5 and in less than 5 minutes your onto glorious roads around here

Am i too late for this to get my name on the list Asbo??

I finally managed to figure out how to turn the “anti-wheelie bollox” off on the S1000rr…hehehe…so I cud entertain all involved with crap executed mono’s !!!

ajoe90

Stick me on the list then
