Heard from the assessors that my yellow VFR800FiX is a total loss.

It’s still going through the system and I couldn’t stand the trains to work any more so I’ve been out and replaced it with this…
it’s a '55 plate registered Jan '06, 2 owners, 12,800 miles, FSH, ABS, HISS, hugger, Scottoiler, new Bridgestone BT021s, serviced and with a new MOT and 3 months warranty - £4750.
Just had a call confirming category C write-off of the Banana and relaying an offer of £1550 pre-accident value from the third-party insurers. I only paid £1995 for it 2½ years and 50,000 miles ago so I don’t reckon it’s worth holding out for more. They offered me the chance to buy it back for £232.50 but there’s no bits on it could use and I can’t be arsed to have a gradually diminishing rolling spares pile about the place while I strip and ebay it.
