The daily chit chat

Their complete range (warning: bike porn):

Topped up the DRZ with oil. It was below the minimum on the dipstick, i.e. bone dry.
Added about 3/4ths of a litre, still dry stick. Started the bike, let it idle for two mins, turn off, then sit for two mins, then remeasure (this is the Suzuki process) and now it’s above max. Sigh. Tricky bugger.

Good morning from Peja, Kosovo. After a morning swim in Lake Ohrid we took the mountain roads over from North Macedonia, avoided the potholes, collapsed roads and dodged through the road building. About 8 hours on the bike.

Looks like its going to be a nice day.

I’m glad you added the word bike at the end. From the photo, I thought you might have done it in the car

I saw this, and thought of @me_groovy:

Not an unreasonable technique in all seriousness! Should have a strap from the front to the back legs to stop them from spreading though

I am trying very hard to stifle the obvious joke there, Mian.

Go on, let yourself go

its a dry sump, you’re only meant to check it after it’s been running.

If It’s sat for a while and your worried, there’s a bolt you can take out the engine and if oil drips you have enough to start it.

The SV has got its MOT today, it ran out about a month ago and ive been distracted by the bros and DRZ at lydden hill, barely ridden it this year.

anyone bored this afternoon, i think it deserves a play

I’m window shopping for a curvy-shape SV650 to try out track days. Saw this come up and was tempted. Redirecting...

Do it, better suspension than the 650, and obviously more power.

Though I fear this is you getting me to admit that my sv should be a good track bike

Ah Fb Marketplace, not gonna lie there are a couple of bikes on there that I’ve got my eye on

Oh Lord. Hopefully those guys will start travelling with minders now. Shame it is necessary.

Sarajevo Olympic bobsleigh track from 1984. Dilapidated and damaged in the 1992 to 1995 war.

Popped in there this morning, amazingly atmosheric. There was a sign saying no vehicles beyond the village carpark but it was in Bosnian so I couldn’t understand it.

Bought an NC750 and love it. First mod was a top box. Am I getting old?

I also apparently have 2 profiles on here.

Dont know about getting old but i bought one last year (the S version) but chopped it in for a 1250 Bandit last month. To be fair, the NC is great at what it does and that ‘Frunk’ does come in handy.
The Bandit also has a top box so i think I’m getting old too!
