Its sad they sold off most of the WW2 planes :frowning:

that’s so cool, would love to go for a walk round there

what a waste:angry: if they parked the planes closer together they could make a amazing race track with the land:D

wheelclampers paradise

Some friends of ours live very close by … may take them up on the offer to visit and do just that;)

I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere that they are pumped full of foam and wrapped in something to keep the elements out … and should they need to be used again … they can :w00t:

The clue is in the link Kev! :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahhh, not quite. Area 51 is to the east. What are you looking at?

I’ll give you that mate! :stuck_out_tongue:

Your link shows a massive impact area, probably used for Nuclear testing etc…

Have a look at this link as well. When you open the link, zoom out and tell me what you think it is…

:w00t:That’s pretty freaky

It’s the training are at BATUS (British Army Training Unit Suffield) in Alberta, Canada. The circles you see are where the Canadians placed vehicles and buildings, before they detonated a rather large bomb to see the effects. The area is now used for large scale armoured exercises by our troops. Amazing training area!
