THE BIG MARMITE DEBATE (LOVE IT OR HATE IT )?

Marmite on toast with warm cup of tea is the best hangover cure EVER…as i am finding out this morning!:w00t::doze:

if anyone is intrested im planning a trip to marmite world next spring

BLEURGH!

I HATE MARMITE.
My kids love Marmite.

Phew, I was starting to think i was the only one that hated it

hate is a big word ,i think you pos dont understand the value of marmite ,give it another try (you know you want too )

how on earth do you think we won 2 world wars and 1 world cup ? you gussed it good old marmite (the food of gods )

now in squeezy bottles, easy to spread, lovely jubbly

Hmmm you may have a point, I used to detest sprouts as a child, but now I enjoy them, maybe its time to try Marmite again :stuck_out_tongue:

I used to really hate marmite in anything until I tried some marmite rice cakes this year. They are absolutely delicious!

Still too salty and high in monosodium glutamate, however with a 1.5litre bottle of Evian, it’s quite easy to finish a whole pack in between motorcycling!

Maybe we need to ‘reclaim’ the Oakdene Cafe by campaigning that they start adding Marmite rice cakes to their menu as a biker snack special

(j/k)

I had posh Marmite this morning… Marmite with champagne in it! Bonkers! :w00t:

Tasted lovely though!

I neither love nor hate it.

think I would swing towards love if it were given to me more often though… I’m a bit of a machoine in that I eat pretty much anything edible in great volumes ;[

Go on then RR - tell us where you were having such a posh breakfast!!!

emm marmite and sprouts thats a sandwich made in heaven god bless ya

oh my god marmite and sprout sandwiches yes yes yes

Marmite on toast with lots of butter…bad…but oh soo good !!!

I’d still (almost) rather give a camel a blow job than eat that over slated sh*te.

Now Brussel’s sprouts is a different matter. Where would a Sunday roast be without them in winter?

+1

+1 I have to agree, marmite with proper butter (not Marg) on grannary toast oh yes yummy

I was at a friends house in Biggin Hill!..
