The 2012 Brugge Choccie Run

It’s time for my usual season opening jolly to Brugge to buy lots of lovely Belgium Easter Eggs, and you are all invited to join me:)

As the numbers for this ride have been growing year on year (this is year 5) I am posting it up a bit earlier so that we will have more of a chance of us all getting on the same train by booking early.

This is not a fast ride (will have it’s moments) and is ideal for smaller bikes (not 125’s) and for those of you who want to pop your Euro cherry.

From the train in Calais to Brugge it is only approx 75 non motorway miles, we will have the usual stops and we will park right in the centre of Brugge which is a biker friendly place. We should be in Brugge around 12:30 and you just do your own thing, we will regroup at 15:30 for the ride back to Calais.

This will be on Saturday 24th March 2012 leaving Folkestone on the 07:20 Eurotunnel returning from Calais on the 19:20. The cost for the train is a bargain £28 return:w00t:

Dates and times are set in stone, I have already booked

Book your own Eurotunnel

you could always postpone a week:w00t:

Thanks Mo.

I was just wondering are we all meeting up at the same place? Has the trip changed from:

The latest check in for the 07:20 is 06:50 idealy we will get there a little ealier just in case, so

First meet point will be Maidstone Service area J8 of the M20. We will leave there at 06:10 on the dot!!!

just make sure you have enough fuel to get to Folkstone, we will fill up straight off the train. or you can make your own way to the train and we will see you there.

We will arrive France at 08:55 (local time) after fueling up it should take about 3 hours (including stops) to get to Brugge.

Once there you do as you please! We will be parking in the main square so will be in the middle of everything.

We will leave Brugge at 14:00 on the dot! to be back in Calais for 17:50 (latest check in time) We arrive back in Folkstone at 17:50 (uk time)

Train booked, can i order Choccy cake now ???

You are aware that there is a 50/50 chance of rain on that day:w00t::hehe::stuck_out_tongue: and no you can’t:P
