I bought a scoot to commute on and it promptly broke its drive belt on the way home last night! As it had only been on my breakdown policy for a few hours they wouldn’t come out to me. My father-in-law could but couldn’t enter the LEZ zone which I was in. So I had to push the damn thing best part of 4 miles to the junction out of the LEZ where my father-in-law could collect me. I’d had better nights to be honest!
Anyway, a guy on a R reg (I think) Blade stopped to see if I needed help. he even offered to go and get his van to help me get home. So in case you are on here, thanks mate, I appreciate you stopping and your kind offer of help with the van. Being a pie eater I was a bit out of breath after pushing the scoot for a few miles and may not have conveyed my thanks clearly enough, hence the thread…

Great to hear you ended up fine!
Can you enlighten me about this LEZ thing? I don’t understand how they calculate it for a pick up van (for a motorcycle).
Good to hear the pies all came to some good use
That bloke would not happen to be a pie muncher himself and a bit on the welsh side ?
