thank you

I don’t know if the biker that kindly enough stop this morning at the pedestrian crossing on Shaftsbury Avenue is on this forum, but if you are, thank you very much. If you hadn’t come over then the driver would not have stopped, driven off once I moved away, I really appreciate that.

Wh’appen D-J?

Do tell ?!

Nothing much really, a guy run into the back of me while I was waiting for pedestrians to cross. I suppose if he had said sorry it would have been ok, but he started yelling and throwing is hands. Then when he finally did get out he started to abused me. Wrong move.

And guess what…………. he was on the phone………………

Hope you karate-chopped him to the deck, what a plonker.

No damage to your rear, I hope

I’ve been told that head butting someone with your visor up (nice strong yet sharp edge) takes the wind out of such an approach. I guess you just have to wait for them to make the first move to keep it legal. Sorry to hear of your incident.

Im afraid that last time this happened to me, I grabbed the person’s phone, ended the call and called the police from it, explained the situation to them, handed the phone to the person and rode off.

What I should have done is taken a picture of the expression on their face with my phone…

Im getting good at talking on the phone with my helmet still on, although Ive not quite got the hang of pressing keys with my gloves on.

Good work ! I’d have paid good money to see that !!!

What an a*se - any damage to the bike J?

as far as I can tell nothing other than a bent number plate

nice one, I can never think of what to do or say at the time. Just amazing how many stupid people actally are our there

don’t you worry, le deriere is still in tact

I heard of a biker once who in a dispute with a cager leaned into the car, whipped the ignition keys out and rode off!

lol how often would I love to do that

Once had an illegal minicab company operating a couple of doors down from where I live. Predictably, the local council did nothing. Far too complicated for them.)

The guy living next door at that time, otherwise a complete ar*e, started taking out keys and dropping them down drains.

Curiously, they moved out after a while.

Never quite understood why.

You should report him for careless driving…

yep, did report him, but somehow I am not hopeful anything will happen. But maybe next time something happens and they still have my papers on file which will help to book him?
