thank god for 2 wheels!

What a day!!, i decided last week that i was going to help bumble aka claire to move house today from Elephant and Castle to Chrystal Palace. We hired a van from Sixth in Vauxhall and went at 9am to collect her things, traffic traffic everywhere and no way can we filter!

As the day progressed we got caught up in so much traffic it turned what should have been a 4 hour job max into a 6.5 hour job!!!, we were both shattered and had been trawling round the streets for most of the day, all i can say is thank god for my gps!!!.

At the end of it all we both agreed we were never gonna own a car in London, and 2 wheels were definatley best!!! so hip hip hooray for bikes!!

Ride safe everyone. x

Until it rains that is

Not to mention heated boots and trousers!

no wonder you had problems, you didn’t even spell it right.

ok clever clogs wolfie!!, where have you been hiding?

Good job we have the congestion charge in London, to reduce congestion eh?

Cough-revenue-generator-cough…

well, id be lost without my car and my bike, theyre my little family, and i aint giving up either of em, but…

my sister was visiting last weekend, so thought id drive her round the usual sights etc… went from walthamstow, north circ, down past city airport, then down a13, over tower bridge, no traffic whatsoever, till i got to waterloo, and it was bumper to bumper between that roundabout before st. thomas’s and the next roundabout, was there for about an hour!!

my poor wee car nearly overheated!!

once got past that bit, drove her down to brixton, dropped her off at her mates, turned round, and came back via parliment square and whitechapel, with no unusual amounts of traffic

and all with my sub pounding out some decent bass
