Used my new textile Jacket this morning, has to be said that it was nice and warm compared to my summer leather jacket.
And pockets so easy to store my wallet, Iphone etc.
But I had (cant find the vents) so a little warm on the way home.
Drag factor tock me by surprise, masive hit when i went over 60ish.
But in general Glad I spent the money…
I’m a great fan of textiles though they do have their limitations. Don’t slide down the road in one for instance unless it’s top end Cordura with decent armour.
Vents? Always a pain to find once on the move. Thin zip ties through the zipper slider help there but compromise the rain proofing of the vents a little.
Drag? All three of my fabric jackets have some form of adjustment to pull the fabric tighter to the arms and waist, which helps a bit, but they are never going to be as good as well fitting leathers.
Downside? I always find them a bit too hot on a good summers day.

Checked my jacket no mid strap or vents ;-(
the cheaper and dearer kackets had them i’ll give infinity a call today just to make sure i’m not being a complete spanner
