What do we call these leather coat things that go on the tank of a motorbike? and where can I get one pls? and roughly how much?

the half covering 1s are called tank bra’s, lol.
i got 1 on me bandit just cos i have a habit of rubbing/scratching the tank when riding, better coverage than tank pads.
if its the bra you want they are bigger in usa, prob in more ways than the 1 we are talking, lol.

Baglux make them, and the tank bags that attach to them. Google their website, as they are in Wales. Or go to the show at Excel or NEC, they usually have a stand there.

i try and keep it like it just wiping it over after a ride out etc.
you can get the baglux ones at hein gericke. They may have to order it in, takes about 3 days. Avoid getting the glossy one as it looks tacky. Matt is the way to go. The tank bags that attach to them are good but be careful when removing it from the cover as the straps that attach it can tear off from the bag. Also make sure you secure and tighten it to the cover or it may interfere with your steering. This happened to me once on a roundabout as the bag was too loose and was quite a scary experience.

I have a baglux cover on my 2009 R6 and I have the dog bag to attache to it so I can put my Jack Russell Terrier in it for trips. Best money I have spent in a while, it also doubles up as tank grip for track days and protects the tank.

bad enough people puttting em on the rack but on the tank on a sports bike?
I have a baglux one in red for my R1 but I wont be going back to red again so I’ll sell it, it fitted perfectly and was alot of money!
