Sv650 k3 with gsxr front end

Up for sale is my k3 which is a cat c write off and rebuilt but needs a few little bits to finish.

The bike has 42k miles on the clocks which are genuine. The panels will Need flatting and polishing to bring the paint work up to standard or a respray if you want to. The mirrors are scratched on the plastics, the rad is bent but holds water the forks has the anodize rubbed off up by the clip ons but can turn the fork around to hide this but hardly noticed anyway, the engine was painted a gunmetal Grey could do with have a fresh coat, the body work will need finishing. The engine pulls lovely no issues with it it’s had oil changed every 4k plugs every 6k and air filter every 6k. I’ve owned the bike since 2007 and Put 20k on her with not one issue with the engine

I’ve just changed the spark plugs 20miles ago and fitted new michellin pilot road 3s 200 miles ago costing £259 fitted from Fwr

that is alot of bike for 1k!!! :w00t: im sure it’ll sell

why you selling tho?

Where is it available for viewing?

During the day in battersea in the evening streatham

is it on the road, or will that need doing?

I’m riding it every day mot till October tax till may

What reg is it?

hmmm, tempting

I want that lots! can’t justify it though :frowning:

It’s on a 53 plate

these are going on autotrader for 2k, why is this one so cheap?

Because i start it with a screw driver and havnt had the time to stamp a new vin number on it yet

so will need a new ignition?
and why do you need a new VIN (excuse my ignorance)?

oh god check my pictures above and look at my ignition

oh yes:blush:

its cheap because its a cat c write off and needs the paint sorted

BARGAIN

How do you insure/tax/mot it if it’s cat c?

same as normal dude

do you need to tell the insurance that its been written off when you insure it?
does it affect the cost at all?

they will have it already on the system about the write off

write offs are lower value thats all
