i’d love to fighter it or cafe racer it, but i have no where to store it and no where to work on it, i’m seriously considering getting the hornet and putting it up for sale.

If I had a grand I’d bite your hand off - been looking for an SV for my next project - but I’ve still got the Bandit, and Bimmer to sort first. :crying:
Sell it, sv thous dont handle that well and the exhaust grinds out easily so not an ideal choice for a track bike. Be better of selling it and buying a cbr/r/zx 6 for the same money if you want dedicated track bike.

and the exhaust has never ground out on mine, and believe me i’ve had some extreme lean angles on road and track;)
CBR’s etc i dont want one, the idea is to keep the SV if i can!
but i need to decide what i’m gonna do with it, some suspension mods and brake mods would make a decent enough track bike, in standard form it was running at just under a minute round brands indy, not bad for first time there on a budget bike:D

looks liek re-build and sell then, i decided on the way home, tho it was wet…when tis dry i’ll probably change my mind again:D i will sooo miss the sound of a Vee if i do sell it

I miss my TL, but getting another V-Twin now. It’s just a bike, don’t get sentimental. Looks like you wouldn’t have a problem selling it if you need to.
I wouldn’t track it, never been the best track bike in any guise or more teams would run them.

then the SV is up for sale, its rideable, i ride it everyday! but it has a few little problems, nothing a bit of TLC wont put right, i juts dont have the time, money or know how really.
i will miss the SV when it does go, i cant help but get attached to bikes i own! i had a zip125 that i paid £150 for go missing once…should have seen how pissed off i was!!
