hi guys/girls
ive got a lovely knocking coming from my front end now had the races adjusted but still got it so time for new bearings me thinks.
i was told to get genuine bearins and will cost about £120 fitted but then i was told tapers are better, so now im beside myself and not sure what to do.
any suggestions or help would be great

iv done many many head race bearings on loads of different bikes and a good quality tapper bearing is as good as a ball and cage.
so long as the fitted right there is no diference in how they will feel or how long they will last.
if you want to make them last longer keep them well greased and adjusted.
ohh and no wheelies
you can get tappers cheap like 15 20 quid a set dealers will charge like 50 70 quid for OEM ball and cage.
koyo and skb make decent ones.
Taper rolers all day long
Have a look at www.wemoto.com
I’d say taper. Just need to be fitted correctly.

Tapers are much better, take more abuse, and last longer.
