I’ve taken my SVTHOU into Infinty in Clapham for it’s 19k service.

At first they were going to give me an XT660 courtesy bike to get about on for the next couple of days, but when I arrived this morning was told that one of the other customers had crashed it, and bent the handlebars.

At first I though I’d be getting the train, but then they presented me with the keys to this fine piece of machinery.

I asked for the XT, saying I don’t mind the bent handlebars, and that I’d ridden many bikes with bent handlebars, but they wouldn’t give it to me.

I also said that I’d happily take one of the new ZX10r’s thay had there, and that I’d been thinking of buying one, and how handy it would be to have the experience, but they don’t give those as courtesy bikes .

So here it is, a Suzuki Van Van 125cc, it has a 180x40x14 rear tyre , and 11.8 BHP.

At least it’s free,

And it does a top speed of 62 mph downhill, and when running on Ultimate petrol does 12mph in first gear!

Don’t be knocking that bike, its what hamster rides and she loves it. I agree its not fast but its certainly different she say she likes it cos its got a fat A**E.

I enjoy every bike I ride, and I’m not knocking it at all.

It’s a funky little thing, but the novelty is starting to wear off.

If they did a 250 or 500 version it’d be a great little toy!

I love my Ferdy.

I don’t want some load of plastic coated c**p like most of you guys with too much testosterone. Although I do agree she doesn’t go as fast as I’d like, but I’d rather have something that relects me, than just engage in one-up-manship like alot of other bikers I know. And that does NOT mean I have a fat arse!

Got a friend that commutes on one of those everyday and he loves it! pretty reliable as well
