Its well worth learning to service your bike your self though.

fluids, filters and plugs is dead easy there may even be something on here on how to do it…

yeah here you go…

What year is the bike?

I take my gixer to steve jordan motorcycles… really good standard of workmanship and the prices are pretty good to… it’s in bookham - about a 5-10 min ride from box hill…

What do they charge for servicing over there?

Hi,
bike is 2000.
Yes, I’m ok with oil and plugs change, I even changed brakes tubes and pumps in my previous one.
It is just that I’ve just bought the bike and wanted a professional to have a look at it.
The other thing is that I don’t have any tools here!
thanx for tips!

Premier motorcycles in West Wickham, used them loads of time and always had good service.

I had my bike serviced there the last time. On the way home I went over a bump and almost lost my brand new Corbin seat which hadn’t been bolted back on (the bolts were there but not through the seat holes). And they didn’t adjust the clutch properly. I also had to pay for some fairing connectors that had fallen out while the bike was still under warranty - thought that was odd but wasn’t too bothered because they were cheap.

They did replace my alarm under warranty without much fuss though. And I got my bike back nice and clean which was nice.

Drei.

£250 sounds expensive.
Just had my Blade’s 4000 mile done at Dobles, cost £124.

I went to maverick motrocylcles in east croydon,
it was 180£ for the 11000miles service.
Price was about the same I found elsewhere but I got the appointment in 7 days instead than in 3 weeks.
People were friendly and overall I’m quite happy.
