I saw a friend of mine the other day; he works for a BMW bike dealership, uncrating and building up new bikes, etc; he was riding a tidy looking little Bandit, which he said cost him £600! It belonged to a customer who, when buying a BMW and trading in his Bandit said “I won’t take less than £600 for it!” Apparently the salesman was going to offer him a grand, but he dutifully conceded and gave up the £600.
