suzuki loctite equivalents anyone?

does anyone know which loctite would be the rough equivalent of suzuki threadlock 1322 ?
I need to use some on a couple of bolts as per the workshop manual but dont want to under or over do the sticking power!

Its for a brake caliper bolt, any advice?

cheers

1322 is the medium strength threadlock so its equivalent would be loctite blue (243) …

Yeah your average loctite will do it, blue like Martin says. You want one that will break on rotation and not require heat etc…

Thanks for the info guys, that’s great.
cheers

Typical, just been to local Auto dealer & Halfords, neither have Loctite in stock. However, they do have GRANVILLES LOCK THREAD. Anyone used this before?
Not sure of the breakaway force needed to undo bolt at a later date, product list it as:

‘It is a medium strength product and can be broken down with tools or heat’

Just wondered how permanent it is.

The stuff they sell in halfords is alright, not great stuff… Should do the trick for you though. I prefer to stick with loctite branded products. You can get 243 from DM Tools Twickenham if that’s any good for you…

Thanks, I tend to gree with the Loctite sentiment. Twick is a bit out of my way. I’ll have a shop arond otherwise it’ll have to be flea-bay and a wait for the postman !
cheers
