Suzuki Burgman 400 cc 2002 model, registered in feb of 2003.34 hp.Metallic Grey in colour.I’m the 2nd owner.
Has been rebuilt over the winter months including a re powder coat of the frame.please see pics.
It comes with a full mot .Taxed end of april 2013.
Tyres have 4mm to front and 5mm to rear.
Professionally fitted new oxford 4 stage heated grips.Also Givi rear rack and spare Givi touring screen.(it does have a few marks but is perfectly usable).The seat bolster was re-trimmed.
There are a few dinky marks,as you would expect of a 10 year old machine, the under seat box is quite clean.
New parts fitted:
Heated grips,fan switch(genuine),coolant pipes(genuine Suzuki)new rad cap(genuine suzuki),numerous wiring connectors all replaced with genuine parts,new engine oil and filter,new genuine fuel tank,new coolant,rad hoses.All brake pads,Brake fluid renewed upon rebuild.Full stainless exhaust system,fitted with stainless fasteners.It wont rust.
I have a large picture file available online showing piece by piece rebuild.upon request.If you look the bike frame is black,burger frames are grey as standard , so you can see it has been redone.I have the seat pad, its not on the bike in the pics, ive got long legs…
No seized bolts or fasteners to contend with, most replaced with stainless where possible.Everything will come to bits without any hassle.
65mpg.Huge storage area under seat with take 2 full face helmets with ease, its even got a boot lamp fitted.
Replacement engine was fitted around 30000 miles by rob willsher motorcycles, as the original had run out of oil,(you have to check this you know!!) and blew up.Now has a rather nice engine which runs lovely.
Ive also fitted a replacement regulator for the charging system as the last one was faulty.
Ive the next project in stock now,so its time to sell this gem.
Lots and lots of past mots and service history,both keys present as is the log book.
Also has charging monitor fitted in dash.Owners handbook.the drive belt is in great condition.The handbrake works lovely.The bike has four brakes in case you didnt know.
You can actually park it down hill on the side stand,as it has a hand brake!!!
The forks were rebuilt and new seals fitted and fresh oil added.
Ive even filled it with petrol.!!!
I also say that this is the carburettor version of the bike,with a simple “morris minor” type fuel pump,no troublesome electronics to go wrong,no codes to read, no computers to plug into,just a simple carb and electronic ignition, it doesnt get any simpler.
Home servicing is easy peasy,with no special tools needed.
It does come with the factory tool kit and owners books.
