Oh joy! What a day this is proving to be! Went out to do some riding as it is such a nice day, only to find the bike won’t start. Get it jumped, ride for 25 miles, still won’t start when I get back. Do some tests on the battery, and it is only 10.5v, although it clearly has some charge so looks like a dead cell.
Walk over 2 miles to get a new battery from Halfords, walk the same distance back. Unpackage it to plug into the charger - the fecking terminals are the wrong way round! The box clearly says the battery is for my make, model and engine size! Damn you Bosch!
Then I discover that the sewage floating round my home on Friday wasn’t an imagining - we really are living in a third world country!
