Supermoto leathers

Hi guys,

Im not the one for leathers on my SM, I tend to wear textile jacket with back armour, kevlar jeans, boots and gloves . However im looking into doing some track days, and for that reason I need and would prefer some leathers.

I’ve found out, you can get actual SM specific leathers, does anyone own any? What would you recommend?

I read that SM specific leathers don’t have as much leather in them compared to race leathers?

Anyway’s I’m looking for some advice what to look for and buy?

I think they are a different cut rather than less leather. Less pre-bent in the arms and legs I would guess.

No idea on where though.

That’s good to know! Do you know any specific brand models that I can look into?

I see a LOVELY bright orange Ktooom 1 piece but that would look awkward on my DRZ :Whistling::w00t:

I thought they were about the same but without the stretchy groin panels and no Velcro for knee sliders… Should be cheaper then!!! :smiley:

My leathers feel tight when on my ktm in the elbows and knees, like you can’t stretch them straight enough, taking off the knee sliders help but on my fazer I’ve never noticed that.

Same as most leathers but there is extra room for our Maaaaahooooooosive balls:D
I got arlen ness supermoto leathers from a member from here for £80 and was only used twice, same as this but blue not orange.

Never use them much cos i like my tatty ol ktm leathers too much, they still got a few crashes left in them yet:laugh:
there is lots of good deals on used leathers out there:)

Same as me, got new A* set but prefer my old “tested” RST :smiley:

MVD does proper supermoto stuff, so does Alpinestars …
