Sunday the 5th of January 2014.

Well its 2014, and Im feeling feely.
Gentile rideout for the introvert and over reactive members of the forum for a gentle bimble and a pub lunch.
No more than 136 miles.
Mrs J is again bedded, so a chance for LB`s young tottie to congregate around their svengali.
Come on Ang, you now you want to.

Depart the Ace 10.00 am for a foray into the woods and beyond.

Sorry but I’m quite happy at home in the warm  …well out shopping doing homely stuff and relaxing.

Enjoy your day it looks nice but cold and slippery out, take care.

Exit London North and East - South Mimms, Cuffley, Ongar and the B1057. Cold, damp, slippery and much laying wetter with the odd bit of flooded tarmac. A warming breakfast and mug of the steamy stuff at Bosworth’s followed up by a steamy pudding & custard before braving the elements for part II

What no rain

Lovely ride

Well, I lied!

It turned out to be 140 miles. :Whistling:

Part II was Steeple Bumpstead, Saffron Walden, Buntingford and the A10.

Got home just as the rain started.

Nice to meet Jamie at the Ace and have the company of him and his ZZR 1400.

Glad you got home safely Art, I think we lost you somewhere on the A10.

Wasn’t going to mention that, I’ll have to check out that double front disk Daytona on the Motor Cycle Monthly back pages

why is it by the dryish tarmac conditions show in the parked bike picture and the various smallish wet patches below each bike I am presuming a fording foray was in the details ?

Wot - this one? :w00t:

No fords but several very large puddles hiding round bends.:w00t:

Having heard it gargle I’ll stay with plan ‘A’ - Stwreet Trwiple
